TEX tokenizes Private Equity deals with ERC-1155 and corresponding ERC-20 tokens to enable on chain trading. Legally, TEX uses a special investment fund in the British Virgin Islands to either execute forward swap agreements or other similar vehicles to purchase companies’ shares, and then issue corresponding GELT to enable on-chain trading. That way we bring Private Equity to DeFi, enabling global 24/7 access with lower entry cost, and made it possible for all DeFi investors to access in the most popular private secondary, or Pre-IPO deals like OpenAI, SpaceX.

When you purchase a GELT you buy a token representing an underlying claim to a unit of equity in our fund which holds shares or contracts for shares of a particular company on its balance. GELT smart contract guarantees the ownership right for the underlying company. How do I get profit? ‍In general, venture investors get profit when the company they invested in increases its valuation through the funding round or when it goes public, initiating a liquidity (exit) event. GELT holders profit exactly the same way, either when an underlying company increases its valuation or goes public, or by reselling their GELT on TEX. Can I sell my GELT? Yes. Simply create a sell order for your GELT on the corresponding company page. Who can invest? TEX is democratizing access to institutional grade investments. You don't have to be an accredited investor or have a lot of capital. There are only several conditions for you to start investing in unicorns!
